FAQ

  • What is included with the package?
Foresight GC3S Launch Monitor, Carl’s Place DIY Enclosure with Premium Impact Screen, choice of HotShot Hitting Mat, and choice of BenQ projector.
  • How far should I stand from the impact screen?
For safety, stand a minimum of 10–12 feet from the screen.
  • How much buffer space is needed around the enclosure?
Allow 2–3 inches of buffer on height and 2–3 inches per side on width. C-Series enclosures have an 8.25" rear backset fitting that adds depth for safety.
  • What happens if a ball hits the black enclosure material?
The enclosure fabric isn’t designed for direct strikes, but incidental rebounds from the screen should not cause issues.
  • What pipes are required for the frame?
DIY kits use 1" EMT (Electrical Metal Tubing). Add the Pipe Framing Kit to your order or source EMT locally.
  • How long does assembly take?
About one hour depending on size and help available; see the assembly video and manual for guidance.
  • Where should I mount the projector?
Placement depends on your viewable screen size and projector throw ratio. Common options include flush or drop mounts.
